Certificate Description:  As an Engineer Watchkeeper you would work on a seagoing ship powered by main propulsion machinery of any propulsion power in any operating area. You would inspect the seaworthiness of the vessel, operate pumping systems and associated control systems, fault-find, dismantle, maintain and repair shipboard plant and equipment, and operate steam propulsion plant and associated systems on a steam vessel.
