Course Overview

Do you love kids? Have you ever thought about getting involved in early childhood care, only to change your mind because you figured that you would need a lot of schooling to start such a career? Do you have time available for two days per week?

The CHC30113 Certificate III in Early Childhood, Education, and Care is a good first step to take if you are serious about working with children. You will learn how to care for babies, toddlers, and children, how to select healthy food and drinks for kids, how to implement approved learning frameworks in early childhood educational settings and more. With this qualification, you will be able to work in early childhood education environments that are compliant with National Quality Standards and Education and Care Services National Regulations. Such settings are not permitted to allow employees to work directly with children without the Certificate III course.

Duration and Study Load:

2 days a week for 38 weeks, plus completion of placement.
