Course Overview

 Do you have a compassionate nature and good people skills? A career in aged care, disability, or home and community care could be for you. This is a new qualification that replaces the Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Home and Community Care, and Certificate III in Disability.
The course has a set of common core units along with set electives that have been chosen in consultation with industry. Trainees will study the Home and Community stream and on-campus students will complete both the Aged Care and Disability streams.

Duration and Study Load:

Full-time 19 weeks – 3 days per week
Part-time 1 day per week

Entry Requirements:

  • Applicants are expected to have language, literacy, numeracy and communication skills to at least Year 10 level.
