In partnership with local Western Sydney Migrant Resource Centres, Community and Settlement Services, Mas Career Development Counsellors are offering a free program to support migrant women in building the skills and confidence needed for sustainable employment.
The Supporting Migrant Women into Employment program provides personalized career coaching, a tailored Career Action Plan, six months of post-program support, and access to the Mas Careers App with helpful resources. Participants can also attend eight two-hour workshops covering essential career development topics such as local labour market insights, networking with employers, mock interviews, personal presentation, professional profile building, and understanding workplace rights and vocational pathways.
The program also extends professional development opportunities to community and settlement service staff, helping them better deliver career advice and support to their clients. This initiative is designed to empower migrant women across Western Sydney with the tools and guidance necessary to achieve independence and meaningful employment.
