School-based apprenticeships and traineeships give NSW students the ability to earn a qualification as part of their HSC and get paid to do it!

Students will undertake a whole traineeship or stage 1 as part of their HSC, and will receive both credit towards the HSC and a nationally recognised vocational qualification.

With one day a week and some of your school holidays on the job and getting paid and the rest of the week in school, you’ll complete your HSC fully qualified for full time work (trainees) of ready to continue your second year of your apprenticeship in your first year out of school (apprentices).

Apprenticeships and traineeships cover a wide array of subjects, including agriculture, horticulture, meat processing, animal care, logistics, engineering and more.
