Free Apprenticeships for under 25s in Queensland

The Queensland Government will cover the cost of your training with a training provider when you choose a high priority apprenticeship or traineeship. Just choose the qualification you want, land an apprenticeship or traineeship with an employer and we’ll cover the cost of you training. Your employer will pay your wages, and you might have to meet costs related to any uniform or other training resources.

Are you eligible?

If you’re under 25, you’re in. Find an employer to start an apprenticeship or traineeship in one of the priority qualifications. You must commence, or be undertaking, your training between 1 January 2021 and 30 September 2022.

You must also meet other general eligibility requirements for apprenticeships and traineeships.
