Certificate Description:  Working as a Wooden Boat Shipwright you will use tools, equipment and marine craft construction techniques to build, repair and maintain wooden construction water craft and vessels. Your duties could include construction of wooden frames and structures such as keel and ribs, and attaching metal parts such as fittings, plates and bulkheads. Note: Skills development should be undertaken through an Australian Apprenticeship arrangement.
