Certificate Description:  Working as a Composites Tradesperson you may work in a variety of organisations, from large to small workshops, repair facilities or a defence or government facility. Some of your duties could include the laying up of composites, selection and using materials and components, handling and storing materials, undertaking repairs and modifications, adjusting resin chemicals and selecting and using joining techniques. Note: ‘composites’ in this application refers to reinforced resin components and does not include geo-textile or other industrial textiles. Skills development should be undertaken through an Australian Apprenticeship arrangement.
