Your duties may include assisting in the reworking of faulty assemblies, confirming equipment is set up for production runs and that tools and parts are available to the right assembly stations. Skills required include assembly, planning, ordering of parts and statistical quality control. Hand tools and soldering equipment are also used. This qualification is specifically designed to cover the skills and knowledge required of workers employed as Engineering/Manufacturing Employees - Level IV as defined in the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award.
