Certificate Description:  Working as a Metal Finishing Technician you would be involved in metal plating to other metals or like materials. You would use a wide range of plating materials such as nickel, brass, copper, zinc, gold and chrome and use a variety of tools and equipment such as plating baths, plating generators, grinders, polishers and wire brushes. You may also be involved in etching of various metals. Note: Skills development should be undertaken through an Australian Apprenticeship arrangement.
