Apprenticeship – Carpenter

Butler Carpentry is seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Carpenter to join their team, working on high-end residential homes throughout Adelaide and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is genuinely interested in carpentry and looking to build a long-term career in the trade while learning from experienced professionals. The successful candidate will work on quality residential projects and gain hands-on experience across a range of carpentry tasks.

About the Role:

The apprentice will primarily be involved in first fix carpentry, including framing and structural timber work, while progressively developing skills across all aspects of high-end residential construction.

Key Duties:

• Timber wall and roof framing
• Floor framing and structural timber work
• Setting out and interpreting building plans
• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Working alongside experienced carpenters and other tradespeople
• Maintaining a clean and safe worksite
• Learning quality building practices with attention to detail
• Developing skills across all areas of residential carpentry

• Physically fit and comfortable working in a construction environment
• Safety-conscious with a strong commitment to workplace safety
• Able to follow instructions and work effectively within a team

• Positive, motivated, and willing to learn

Previous construction experience is advantageous but not essential.
