Transport for NSW is seeking four Electrical Apprentices across four locations in NSW. This is an exciting opportunity to develop practical electrical skills while working alongside qualified tradespeople and contributing to electrical systems that help keep NSW moving.

About the Role:

As an Electrical Apprentice, successful candidates will work alongside experienced and qualified tradespeople to assist with the construction, maintenance, repair and modification of electrical equipment that supports Transport for NSW operations.

Apprentices may gain experience working on a variety of important electrical systems and infrastructure, including:

• Traffic signals
• Tunnels
• The Sydney Harbour Bridge
• Other electrical equipment supporting Transport for NSW operations

Key activities may include:

• Assisting with the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
• Supporting electrical repairs and modifications
• Using electrical tools and equipment safely
• Working alongside qualified tradespeople to develop practical skills and industry knowledge
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Gaining hands-on experience across a variety of Transport infrastructure
