Apprenticeship – Horticulture

CBM Landscaping is seeking a motivated Apprentice Horticulturist to join their team and undertake training while gaining hands-on experience across a variety of gardening and landscaping contracts throughout Canberra.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in horticulture, learning practical skills while working alongside experienced professionals in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with garden maintenance and landscaping activities.
• Plant, prune, weed, mulch, and maintain garden beds.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely.
• Support the team in delivering high-quality landscaping and horticultural services.
• Learn and apply horticultural best practices under supervision.
• Maintain tidy and safe worksites across various locations throughout Canberra.

About the Ideal Candidate:

• Passionate about working outdoors and in the horticulture industry.
• Eager to learn and develop new skills through an apprenticeship.
• Reliable, punctual, and motivated.
• Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual work.
• Holds a current driver’s licence (preferred but not essential).
