Apprenticeship – Landscaping (2nd, 3rd or 4th Year)

Terra Mater Group is a leading landscape design and construction company servicing the Canberra region. Renowned for delivering high-quality commercial and residential landscape projects, the company is seeking a motivated 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Landscape Apprentice to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring landscaper to further develop their skills through hands-on experience while working alongside experienced industry professionals on a diverse range of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and maintenance of landscape features including garden beds, lawns, trees, paving, irrigation systems, concreting, and decking
• Operation of landscape equipment and machinery, including hand tools, power tools, excavators, and skid steers
• Soil preparation and maintenance, including fertilising, mulching, and watering
• Planting, pruning, and ongoing care of a wide variety of plants and trees
• Landscape design implementation and construction activities
• Completion of all required apprenticeship training and qualifications

About the Candidate:

Terra Mater Group is looking for someone who:

• Is a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Landscape Apprentice
• Has a genuine passion for landscaping, outdoor work, and construction
• Demonstrates excellent physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour
• Possesses strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Has well-developed communication and customer service skills
• Is eager to learn and committed to successfully completing their apprenticeship
• Holds a current driver’s licence
• Is an Australian citizen (mandatory requirement)
