Business Teacher

About the role

We’re looking for a Business Teacher to join Australian Trade College North Brisbane (ATCNB). This is a full-time, permanent opportunity working with senior secondary students in a hands-on, vocational learning environment.

You’ll be delivering Certificate III in Business while helping students build practical skills and confidence for real career pathways beyond school.

What you’ll be doing

  • Deliver engaging Business lessons aligned to industry outcomes
  • Plan, assess, and track student progress
  • Create a positive, structured classroom environment
  • Support student wellbeing, engagement, and behaviour
  • Keep up to date with marking, reporting and admin
  • Get involved in school activities, events and wider student life
  • Work closely with staff, leadership and external stakeholders

What we’re looking for

  • Qualified teacher (Bachelor or Masters in Education or equivalent)
  • Certificate III or higher in Business
  • QCT registration (or eligible)
  • TAE (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience with senior secondary students is a bonus
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Someone who enjoys working in a practical, career-focused environment
