Cabinetmaking Apprenticeship

MRAEL are currently seeking a highly motivated and eager 2nd Year Cabinetmaking Apprentice for an immediate start. This position is also opened to applicants in their 1st year with industry experience.

Our client specialise in high-end custom cabinetry, built-in furniture, and bespoke joinery. They take pride in their craftsmanship and are looking for a dedicated Apprentice to join their close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be involved in the full lifecycle of our projects—from the workshop floor to the final install. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Building and assembling cabinets and joinery components.
  • Reading and interpreting assembly plans and drawings.
  • Confident use of hand and power tools (drills, saws, etc.).
  • Assisting with high-quality installations at residential and commercial sites.
  • Loading/unloading cabinetry and materials between the workshop and site.
  • Keeping the workshop and installation sites clean and safe.

This is a great opportunity to gain quality hands on industry experience whilst working towards your Nationally Recognised Qualification and becoming trade qualified.

Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian citizen/resident
  • Must have Drivers Lic and reliable transport
  • Reliable, hardworking and punctual
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to follow directions and a willingness to learn
  • Genuine interest in this career path
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a White Card

Work Type:

Full Time Apprenticeship (Monday – Thursday, 38 hours per week)
