Contract Automotive Assessor for a Trades Recognition Australia Program

The Australian Trade Training College is seeking a trade qualified Assessor to conduct Job Ready assessments with overseas participants in their workplace based in South East Queensland.

As an established RTO delivering Trade Recognition programs based in Brisbane, we are extending our team to include a contract assessor to undertake these assessments on our behalf.

If you are passionate about the automotive industry and recognising the knowledge and skills developed by participants who have previously gained an automotive qualification as a part of this migration program. This is an opportunity for you to be an important part of their journey to permanent residency.

What you will bring to this position:

• Australian trade qualification in Automotive – Certificate III or above – required
• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or the Assessor Skill Set – required
• Previous training and assessment history –desirable
• Reliable vehicle and current drivers licence – required
• Ability to work within timelines
• Attention to detail and ability to write applicant assessment reports
• The ability to effectively communicate with participants who have English as a second language
• A can-do attitude

 Applicants must be eligible to work in Australia. A current Working with Children Blue Card and National Police Check is required and can be arranged for the successful applicant.
