Inside Sales Manager – Print & Copier

The opportunity

This is a newly created leadership role with a clear purpose: build and run a high‑performing inside sales function focused on A4 printers and copiers for the commercial market.

The market has shifted. A4 devices and simpler buying models now dominate, and traditional field sales coverage is no longer commercially viable for this segment. This role exists to create a scalable, office‑based sales engine that delivers volume, consistency and margin.

If you understand how the copier industry really works and enjoy building teams and processes that actually sell, this is a rare chance to do something meaningful.

What you’ll be doing

You will set up and lead a new inside sales team of around five people. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll:

  • Recruit and develop an inside sales team
  • Build sales processes, call structure and scripts
  • Coach activity levels, conversion and deal quality
  • Drive consistent performance and predictable results
  • Own the commercial outcomes of the channel

This is not a field sales role. The entire model is designed to run from the office, with a focus on efficiency, repeatability and volume.

What you’ll be selling

Commercial A4 printers and copiers, sold as a simple bundled solution:

  • Competitive monthly pricing from around $75
  • Contract terms typically up to five years
  • Ownership option at end of term
  • Service and consumables included (excluding paper)

The emphasis is on straightforward, affordable solutions that are easy to purchase over the phone, rather than complex or bespoke deals.

Your background

This role is best suited to someone with direct copier or printer industry experience who understands margin, cost of sale and deal velocity.

You might be:

  • An Area Sales Manager ready to move into a commercial leadership role, or
  • A Sales Manager from a smaller dealer who has had to think carefully about overheads and profitability

Experience with inside or phone‑based sales teams will be highly regarded, but understanding the copier business model is essential.
