Junior 3rd or 4th year Light Vehicle Automotive Apprenticeship | Essendon Skoda

Completing your apprenticeship within a fast-paced service department located in Essendon, you will study for a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical while working a fulltime, Monday to Friday roster.

This role will see the successful applicant learning and developing within a passionate family-owned business that is a dedicated European Vehicle Specialist. Operating from a standalone premises, they are the largest operation in Australia that pride themselves on upholding leading-edge performance.

What you will be doing

• Full servicing and mechanical repairs on a diverse range of motor vehicles.
• Diving deep into fault finding and diagnostics.
• Learning every facet of the trade to become a top-tier mechanic.
• Managing daily paperwork, including repair orders and job notes.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and professional workshop environment.

What we are looking for

• You must be a 3rd or 4th-year apprentice with proven experience in a mechanical workshop.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a solid foundation in servicing and fault finding.
• You’re a team player who takes direction well, stays flexible when priorities shift, and isn’t afraid to ask questions.
• You must have a current police clearance and a reliable work ethic.
• Drivers Lic (unrestricted) and reliable transport
• Is an Australian citizen/and or Permanent Resident
