About the Role

As an Apprentice Machinist, you will learn how to:

• Operate and maintain manual and CNC machinery
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Manufacture and repair precision components
• Use measuring instruments and quality control equipment
• Apply workplace health and safety procedures
• Work alongside experienced tradespeople and industry professionals

Eligibility Criteria

To be successful, you will ideally have:

• Completed Certificate II in Engineering Mechanical Fitter & Machinist – Preferred
• A genuine interest in engineering, manufacturing, or mechanical trades
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Good mathematical and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable transport and a current driver’s licence (preferred)

Previous workshop, mechanical, or trade-related experience is advantageous but not essential.
