About the Role

We’re seeking a passionate Psychologist, Counsellor, or suitably qualified Allied Health professional to join our team based in Dandenong, Victoria.

In this role, you’ll deliver face‑to‑face and Telehealth mental health and wellbeing support to participants engaged in employment and vocational education programs. The role is varied and rewarding, supporting people to overcome barriers, build confidence, and achieve meaningful outcomes.

This position works closely with a culturally diverse client group. The ability to provide counselling services in Dari is required to support the needs of Dari‑speaking participants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver one‑on‑one and group Allied Health consultations
  • Provide both in‑person and Telehealth sessions
  • Design and deliver outcome‑focused assessments and interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with governance and privacy standards
  • Provide personalised support and connect participants with community services
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain registration
  • Promote a safe and healthy work environment in line with organisational policies

About You

You’re a compassionate, qualified professional who’s committed to culturally responsive, trauma‑informed practice. You work well independently while collaborating with a broader multidisciplinary team.

Key Requirements

  • AHPRA‑registered Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist
  • Registered Counsellors (PACFA or ACA) encouraged to apply
  • AASW‑registered Social Workers will also be considered
  • Experience delivering mental health services in community, employment, or allied health settings
  • Ability to deliver individual and group interventions
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Experience working within a clinical governance framework
  • Professional proficiency in spoken Dari
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Check and Victorian Working With Children Check
