If you would like to help people with a disability make positive changes to their lives, our CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability is for you.

This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of community settings and client’s homes, who provide training and support in a manner that empowers people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing.

On completion of this course, you will have the skills, knowledge and confidence to support people with an intellectual, sensory or physical disability, enhancing their ability to achieve greater levels of independence and community participation.

Workers promote a person-centred approach, work without direct supervision and may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a small team.

Duration and Study Load:

  • 2 days per week, face to face in the classroom over a period of 12 months. Classes are from 9:30am-3:00pm.
  • Learners are required to complete a minimum of 120 hours of practical placement with an industry provider

Entry Requirements:

  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • Must have a current Working with Children Check prior to commencing placement
