Meet Casey – A Carpenter Apprentice Breaking Barriers
Casey is a 4th-year carpenter apprentice with AGA, living proof that following your passion pays off. After trying a range of jobs from hospitality to hairdressing, Casey always knew carpentry was her true calling. Now, she’s thriving on the worksite—learning something new every day, earning the respect of her team, and proving that determination and hard work can overcome any obstacle.
Starting out wasn’t easy—she had to “earn her stripes” and push through challenges, but giving up was never an option. Her drive, initiative, and resilience have made her a valued part of the team at Casello, where she’s treated like any other apprentice—and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
Even during her pregnancy, Casey continues to show that women belong in trades. With supportive colleagues and an adaptable work environment, she’s looking forward to returning to work after welcoming her baby girl.
